Casey feels upset, underappreciated, and pressured. In the guise of doing something positive for Serena, Carol suggests that they contribute to a speaking gig, but she's not as supportive as she first seems. Sanjay's assertiveness has a negative impact on others and Carlos often feels crushed, dealing with Barney's outbursts. Dion counsels Carlos to make the reception area a place where people engage with him. Tammy learns the power of no when people impose on her. Carol coaches Steve out of his negativity and Marcus gives Casey an Aboriginal togetherness charm.
