Description
Bystander is a short fiction film that addresses contemporary bullying. The film was made collaboratively with students, inspired by their own experiences. This story is told through the eyes of a bystander – who learns to be an upstander – standing against bullying. Students learn to find their inner strength, compassion and vulnerability. Themes include cyber bullying, speaking out, self worth and what it feels like to be different. Stories from the Classroom is a short film series dealing with important topics that middle school and high school students currently encounter in school, on the playground and at home. We explore contemporary concerns including bullying, exclusivity, peer pressure and other socially relevant issues in our films. Revealing Media Group is a production company that collaborates with the youth of today and gives their authentic voices a chance to be heard. We also offer workshops and film production courses.
